Unfortunately we are only overnighting in Edinburgh so I won't have a lot of time to check out these records - they sound really invaluable to the family historian! We are trying to spend as much time meeting the family I haven't seen since 1975 so the focus wasn't on spending days trawling through archives, although that is a dream of mine. Still trying to work out how to convince the kids that visiting the archive will be cool! This years visit I am wanting to focus on my convict, George Brand, whose court transcripts runs to over 500 pages! I have some copies of pages from a genealogist I hired a couple of years ago, however, I want to look into them further. I will definitely have to make another trip to Scotland in the future, alas the cost and the distance from Australia will mean this another few years down the track. Thank you so much for sharing this valuable resource!
Regards
MeganAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08499650909364999363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8172940830246247875.post-86909555030821121282018-05-28T06:32:16.588-07:002018-05-28T06:32:16.588-07:00I don’t know of any Scottish ancestors in my line,...I don’t know of any Scottish ancestors in my line, but I know I would want to check out these records.
