The palm trees mentioned in the Otta Swires book are still alive in the neighbouring walled garden. Ord House has once again changed hands and is no longer a B&B, but Ord has no shortgae of accommodation if you should ever visit.Mairi Ordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11466477761331677917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8172940830246247875.post-64700072963605355822011-04-23T01:46:21.523-07:002011-04-23T01:46:21.523-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03792688620989736668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8172940830246247875.post-10295212454658120282011-04-23T01:06:43.510-07:002011-04-23T01:06:43.510-07:00we are looking up some family history and came upo...we are looking up some family history and came upon your story. my mother in law (Thelma larkin)is related to charles macdonald (mathew and mary are ggg grandparents) and interestingly they now live in noosa, not far from where you found your info!
